You like hanging out with friends and strangers, showing off how smart you are, and winning booze and food? So do we! Join us Sunday nights at 7 for the brand new Smart-ass Trivia at the cool, air conditioned, Awaysis Rio Bar! Smart-Ass-in-Chief, AJ will be here to plumb the depths of your brains with 6 rounds of spoken questions and 1 wild card round. Topics may include general knowledge, current events, popular culture, Vallarta, history, sports, spirits, art, music, literature, nature… everything from Chimpan-A to Chimpan-Z. Let’s just say it’s broad-ranging.Bring a team , or if you don’t have one, we can find a team for you to join (or meet other solo players to form a new super-team)! Fine print/details/how does this shit work? Teams may be up to 6 players. If you have more than 6, congratulations! You now have 2 rival teams — prepare to have it out, trivia-style. After 3 rounds of spoken trivia and the wild card round, first half scores will be tallied. The team in the lead at the half wins a round of house shots. The overall winning team at the end of the game gets a $500 credit, either taken off their tab for the night or for use in the future.
